What exactly is a homecoming mum?
It's a Texas tradition: a handmade keepsake of ribbons, silk flowers, and sparkle in your school's colors, worn to celebrate homecoming. Girls wear the mum; guys wear the matching garter on their arm.
What's included in a package?
Every mum package comes with its flower, a full ribbon skirt, specialty braids, a "Homecoming" ribbon, at least one signature handmade satin rose, and a custom school or sport ornament. Every garter comes with a custom school charm chain in the theme of your choice. Bigger packages add name ribbons, "Senior" accents, rhinestone details, and monograms. The traditional brass bell is yours to add or leave off, depending on your school's noise rules.
What are the ornaments and charm chains?
Every mum includes at least one custom ornament: a 2.5″ wood ornament with a school or sport graphic of your choosing, which we send for your approval before it's printed. Add more ornaments for $10 each. Metal charm chains, each with five 1″ charms in a theme like Football, Cheer, Volleyball, Theatre, or Music, are $5 per chain. His garter includes one charm chain.
When should I order?
As early as you can! Homecoming season fills up fast. Approve your design at least 1 week ahead for a Petite or Mini, 2 weeks for a Deluxe Mini, Classic Single, or Deluxe Single, and 4 weeks for a Senior or Custom mum, and we guarantee it's ready in time. For garters, it's 1 week for a Petite or Mini, 2 weeks for a Classic, 3 weeks for a Senior or Deluxe Senior, and 4 weeks for a Custom. Closer than that? We'll confirm your date right away. If you need it within 7 days, a $75 rush fee applies.
Can you match my school's colors?
Always. Just tell us your school and colors when you build your mum, and we'll match them exactly.
What if a name is spelled a certain way?
We'll show you every name exactly as it will appear and ask you to confirm before we build. Please double-check carefully. Once a personalized piece is made, the spelling is final.
How big should my mum be?

Do you make garters for the guys?
We do. Order his garter right alongside her mum so the pair arrives together.
What about senior or custom mums?
Senior mums run $235 to $295, with the 7.5″ flower, a "Senior" ribbon, a Mobius braid, and all the trimmings. You can build one right in the designer. Want something completely one-of-a-kind? Choose Custom and we'll design it with you by appointment, from vision to final price.
How do I get my mum?
